Designation

The Master’s Program in Socio-environmental Management is unique in Colombia and one of the 4 postgraduate programs in Latin America with this integral denomination. Although, from a theoretical-conceptual perspective, the environment involves and encompasses the social factor and constituent element, the socio-environmental aspect seeks to make visible the emphasis that is intended to be given in pursuit of management, understood as a macro-process that would lead to environmental sustainability and sustainability. The character of Socio-environmental Management proposes an emphasis on normative and factual instruments to address socio-environmental situations with a marked spatial anchorage.
